You do not need to know what to do in front of the camera. I’ll tell you where to stand, what to do with your hands, when to move, and when to just ignore me for a second. I want you to have the photos you know you want, but I’m also looking for the ones you probably would not think to ask for like someone fixing your dress, caressing your check, your partner looking over at you, your friends being ridiculous in the background. Those usually end up being some of the best ones!

I love photos that feel clean, natural, and true to what was actually happening. Some moments need a little direction and some are better left alone. So yes, I’ll make sure we get the portraits. I’ll also be paying attention to everything happening before, after, and in between them!
